Passport 1TB - Need help

WD External Drives External Drives for PC

My external 1TB Passport shows up in Windows under devices and device manager. But not as a drive under MY PC folder.
The light is on and I can go into Safely remove hardware and it shows up and lets me remove.
I ran the WD Utilities and it passes the Status check but fails the others.
I have data I want to retrieve.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey @rspears,

Sounds like your External HDD have malfunctioned. The best thing you can do is go for Data Recovery. It will save your valuable time.
