Hi folks,

Have had a hunt around and can’t seem to find an answer to what could be a simple settings issue.

When playing anything, fast forward or rewind … the playback time bar doesn’t move and no time can

be seen.  You know in the bottom bar that comes up on the screen, I can’t see that I am say  -

22 mins 46 secs / 1 hour 12 mins 28 secs

that type of thing.

This is especially handy when playing movies with no chapters and longish fast forwards are needed to get back to the spot you were up to.

If somebody has a solution or an idea on this, would appreciate your advice.

even during regular PLAY mode? You SHOULD see that. If you don’t, it’s quite possible there is something wrong with the file. Please post the mediainfo for such a file. Is this happening to ALL your files??

Hi and thanks for the fast response

Yeah, its happening for all my files.  It was working fine for a few months, and now its just disappeared.  The bar comes up, but the dot does not move across the bar and no time played can be seen.  The x2 x4 etc … is there but thats all.

Have tried a number of files to make sure its not an isolated case, but I mainly only have .avi and .mp3 files so they should be no drama.

The reason I thought it may have just been a settings issue is because my wife uses it more than I do and I thought she may have accidentally changed a setting.

Any ideas appreciated.
