Hey people, when I play a movie it doesn’t show me how far it is, the pointer just stays at the start and it says the movie is 00:00:00 in length. Sometimes forwarding it doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s a bug or I **bleep**ed it up with not ejecting it properly. If the latter is the case, how could I fix it? Thanks!

There are some file types which can do this (usually they are malformed). If you play the file on your computer using, say, VLC does it report how long the movie is and where it is in the timeline? If not, the problem is in the file. If it *does* report correctly it might be that the Live doesn’t like that particular file type (it plays best with files in MKV containers and using standard codecs).
