I keep trying to update but in the middle i get this message. I can find the file but it says it’s the wrong one.

Try a clean install of the latest version.
Uninstall WD Smartware from your computer, restart the computer and then install the latest version.
I tried to uninstall both quickview and smartware from the program feature and get the same error that it cannot find the installation source. It will not uninstall.
Downloaded microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall and it worked.
