Not All Files Showing via App/Web

I have a EX2 Ultra, and managed to copy my macOS photo library from my iMac to my NAS so I could reinstate it on my new MacBook. I’m having several issues - firstly, I cannot seem to copy it from one folder to another on the NAS, or from the NAS to my MacBook, but the oddest thing is that if I access the NAS via Finder, the relevant file is sitting under ‘public’ but if I access the NAS visa the My cloud appear via the web interface, the file isn’t showing at all.

Is there a way to show the file on all environments? And what is the best way to copy the file (~97GB) out to my MacBook? Is hardwiring it via ethernet the only option?

I don’t have the same WD Device as you and I don’t use Apple, but I move my files to a new computer by using drag and drop. For large files that I move I choose to do it at night when I am not using the computer.

How are you trying to copy the files?

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I’m using copy/paste from one location to the other over WiFi. Have tried copying to a USB hard drive plugged into my NAS as well. I haven’t tried overnight as yet but thanks for the suggestion.

It’s still odd that I can’t see the files via web access or the app though?
