Hello there, I have this mpeg. file along with the corresponding srt file , both in the same folder.
When I try to watch it, no subtitles.
How can I tell if the srt file is corrupted or if the problem is somewhere else?

Does the video file and srt file have the same name except for the extension ?

Subtitles won’t appear by default, you have to turn them on.
the movie and the file for the subs must have the same name and at the end of the name of the subs .srt example : titans titans.srt
I found a slight difference in the file name . This should be the reason thanks
