I’m using the WDTV Live Hub playing all movies through a networked connected My Book Live 3 TB drive. However when I view the files from this drive on the Hub, it does not download the movie info like it does when connected directly to a USB drive. It doesn’t even give the option to do this manuually. Anyone understand why this is?
You can’t use the MBLDs Media Server (if that’s what you’re doing) because DLNA doesn’t support all that extended stuff.
If you’re using network shares, you need to add the shares to the media library, and once done, set your content source to the media library.
