Just bought 2 8TB WD My Book Ext drives WDBBGB0080HBK-NESN . Plugging them into a Win10 workstation works fine. But cannot get them to work on my Windows Server 2008. The server sees the drives and wants to format them. So I let the server attempt to format one of the drive, but after 3 days and 99% completed, it fails the format.
In the past, My Book ext drives came with CD containing drivers, which made the 5TB drives to work on Server 2008. But these 8TB doesn’t come with the CD. Are there drivers available for these drives?
