New here, please excuse my lack of knowledge or ability to find a previous explanation. I have windows XP Pro on 2 comps connected with a Lynksys router enabling me to also see other external storage. Can WD TV Live Plus see and play stored movies on my network or do I need some type of media sharing software?

As long as that storage does “Windows File Sharing,” or “Samba,” you’re good to go.

I can copy edit and share files through out my network does that count? lol
