Network Connection

I recently moved and now My Book is has issues connecting to the network. I thought I could just plug the hard drive in at the new place and everything would be fine. I have tried all I know. I reset, disconnected the power cord and ethernet cable and my computer was still unable to locate the hard drive after trying to reconfigure it as if it was a new drive out of the box. At one time my light in the front was green and it still could not be discover when using the set up software. Now the light is red. I am not sure how to get my drive reconnect to my network.

A red LED indicates a connectivity problem. Either the unit has a physical hardware malfunction, or it’s not properly communicating with your router.

Try replacing your Ethernet cable and connecting your NAS to a different port in your router.

The light is green and when I use the installation disc I am still not able to discover the hard drive even though
the light is green. What other options are there in getting My Book Live set up on my network?
