N750 remote access to HDD

I have a MyNetN750 all configured and ready to roll, remote management enabled.

I have a 2TB Seagate external drive into the USB port, and it is recognized just fine and accessible when I am on my home network.

However, I am having trouble connecting to it via FTP remotely (at my office)

I have the IP address of the network and can steer to the router admin just fine, but can’t access the HDD via FTP (using FileZilla)

I am not sure if I have to do port forwarding or other routing - if so, I do not know the IP address of the HDD because the list of clients in port forwarding just says by most of my devices.

Anybody help?

Remote access to your drive is not possible.

On the plus side there’s more security for your USB content.
