MyPassport connection fails on Macbook Pro

I have a My Passport Wireless Pro. I am using it with my Macbook Pro running MacOS Catalina. I have no problem access it from my iPhone via My Cloud. However, when I open my passport on my laptop in finder I get the message “failed connection”. I click “connect as” the message changes to “not connected”.

Any ideas as to how to get into my passport would be greatly appreciated.
