MyCloud doesnt show up under windows networks

I can access MyCloud using the browser but I want to use windows explorer to see the drive (and map as a drive letter). Why cant I see it from either windows machine on the local network? (one is Windows 10 and the other is XP)

Also I want to actually block the MyCloud drive from online access and just use it as a true local network drive.

Are both Windows machines networking configured for Private and not Public?
Is NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled?
Is the firewall blocking access to the local network?

If you haven’t read the My Cloud User Manual (http://support.wdc.com/product.aspx?ID=904) or the My Cloud Dashboard Help, you may want to. It will explain how to use and configure the various features of the My Cloud including accessing the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings page and turning off Cloud Access/Remote Access.
