MyCloud 4 TB bought in november is out of warranty?

I just bought a WD My Cloud 4 Tb from a guy who had bought it i a nationwide reseller in November.  How come I get a “warranty expired” message when trying to registrer the product ?

Hi sideburns, on your case I would try to contact support directly, they can update the warranty for you with a proof of purchase.
