Hi! I have some problem with a MyBook WDBAAF0010HBK-010911N. I usually use it with a mac, but after the upgrade to yosemite operating system the external drive was no longer detected. I decide to connect it to a windows machine and it was working properly. I decide to upgrade the firmware to solve the problem with my mac. I downloaded the tool for windows but during the upgrading process the operation failed.
Now I can’t use the drive both Windows and Mac. When I connect it to a windows computer I have only an “Initio Default Controller”.
How can I solve the problem? There is a way to restore the default firmware without losing the data?
