MyBook live WD2go doesn't work with my XP computer

Hi,

I have purchased this WE a Mybook live 2To HD and am unable to access to it remotely with my XP based laptop.

The message “the network name cannot be found” appears each time.

I have tried with firefox, explorer, same story.

I have modified C:\Windows\inf  file netdav.inf and changed the ServiceType=0x20 to ServiceType=0x10 as recommended on another post, still the same.

I have another laptop running on windows7 and have no issues at all,

Please help,

Check your java settings and make sure that is up to date  and also with the flash player.

Also make sure that run all the updates on the laptop.

Hi, both java & flash up2date and doesn’t work .

Still the same message. It’s in French (I’m french) but still same thing,

Hi, you can try to use another web browser, also be sure to have all of the available windows updates. Can you access the my book from another computer?

I still have the same problem whatever the navigator used : chrome, firefox and explorer …
