Setting up went OK with latest firmware and software. Backup was fine and all files visible in My Computer, but not always visible in the WD Restore screen; sometimes there sometimes not. When not visible the two file boxes on the Home page are greyed out but do show size of System Area for both internal hard drives. Went back to earlier version of WD Smartware (188.8.131.52) and everything seems OK. Communication with WD Support was a waste of time as they never directly answered my questions. Has anyone had similar problems which I suspect are related to having two hard drives to backup and to the latest WD Smartware.?
The latest update has messed me up as well. I can’t back up my passport to my book now. I could before that latest update.
It seems that there are problems with this latest update!!
