My WDTV Live Plus won't read my external hard drive. Are there file limitations? It is a 4tb easystore

Will read small sd card on usb, not my larger external hard drives. Anything I can do to alleviate this situation?

Hard Drives over 2TB use GPT (GUID Partition Table)

Apparently, support for GPT was resolved with a Firmware Update.

Also, make sure your Hard Drive is formatted either NTFS, FAT32 or HFS

WDTV Media Players are not compatible with exFAT.
