My WDTV Live Plus won't read my external hard drive. Are there file limitations? It is a 4tb easystore

Will read small sd card on usb, not my larger external hard drives. Anything I can do to alleviate this situation?

Hard Drives over 2TB use GPT (GUID Partition Table)

Apparently, support for GPT was resolved with a Firmware Update.

Also, make sure your Hard Drive is formatted either NTFS, FAT32 or HFS

WDTV Media Players are not compatible with exFAT.

Important Notice Regarding Single USB Drives Greater than 2 TB's and WD TV Products

At this time, the WD TV product line does not support the use of single USB drives larger than 2 TB.  Doing so may cause corruption to the data, or damage to the partition.  Our dual and network drives larger than 2 TB’s can continue to be used with the WD TV products.
