My Passport 4TB portable drive appeared to work correctly for several months but stopped daily backup about 3 months ago. Should I try reloading the software? or other solution?

You should try to reinstall the updated version of Backup software from WD Support website.
Thank you Brandon P for the reply. I did reinstall the updated version of Backup software from WD and it seemed to work for an initial complete backup but the daily backup did not work for the reason shown below: it says that some files failed to backup. They are the ones with “.sqm” . Does anyone know why these don’t back up or if there is a workaround for this?
