Hi all, I recently installed WD discovery for my new My Passport hard drive. Unfortunately, my drive does show up in the list of devices on WD discovery. My windows computer is able to recognise the drive and I have registered the drive as is instructed in the user manual. Does anybody know what to do? Thanks very much for your help
Backup the data to another device. Once the data has been backed up, format the drive in ExFAT to be used on both Windows and macOS. If the drive will only be used on a Windows computer, please format the drive in NTFS.

That answer isn’t helpful for those of us that used the WD discovery and our passport to back up our old computer data and now want to put it on our new computer. Yes, I updated WD Discovery and did the back up on the old computer with the same version of WD Discovery that is loaded on my new computer. I’m on the road with work and now can’t access the files. Can you provide a real solution or am I stuck?
