My Passport missing from disk management

Hello,

I have a problem with my external hard drive, WD My passport 2TO (WXM1AC7DLZT3°.

I’ve been using it for about a year now on windows 10, and I never had a problem with it.

Last week, I wanted to format IT and switch to another file system because I couldn’t read my disk from a Linux distribution (I didn’t know it can only be used on Windows and Mac). I saved all my files beforehand, fortunately. The native file system was exFat, and I did the quick format to NTFS.

I don’t know what happened next, but the disk disappeared after the format.

Now, I can’t access nor format it because it became corrupted (i guess?). Each time i plug it into my computer, windows asks me to format it because it is inaccessible and tells me it cannot be formatted.

I tried to see it in disk management and device manager, and it is missing. It will only be shown for 1 second after I plug it, and it disappears afterward.

In that 1 second, I could see in disk management that it was RAW.

I tried to fix it for about one week now, but all the solutions that I saw (many) couldn’t fix it. I tried some software too, and no one could detect it.

Do you have any idea on how to fix it, if it can be repaired at this stage?

Thank you in advance for your responses.
