My Passport is full but I only have 1 backup

My Passport (500 GB) is full and when I go into manage space, view backups there is only one backup (27 March 2022, 49.03 GB).
My space usage summary:
Data file backup: 49.03 GB
System image: 180.41 GB
Other Files: 199.39 GB
Free space: 36.91 GB
Total size: 465.73 GB

I have no idea what is in the Other Files. Is there a way I can start over on this My Passport? (erasing every thing), etc.?

Hi @pegleeray,

We need to reformat the Drive once before starting a new backup. Please transfer the from the Drive to the computer and then will reformat the Drive.

Please refer to the article Acronis True Image for Western Digital File Backup and Restore to a WD DAS:

OK, thank you. It said it will take 5 hours. I do have another WD My Passport that I also backup my files on. I just wanted another backup just in case.

OK. It’s done. Guess now I’ll just right click on my D: drive (drive that My Passport is on) and select format. Then I can do a full backup on that. Then, I can delete the file that I had transferred to my computer so that doesn’t backup onto my drive?

I formatted my D; drive (My Passport) and now the WD Backup.swstor file is not on there. What should I do?
