My passport for Mac will not install after restoring my macbook

Hi there
I have just restored my Mac book pro after a total backup on my WD passport for Mac.
when I try to reinstall WD smartware again to enter my files, it will not install, after I try to install, it says , continue to backup, and the nothing happens ?
