Continuing the discussion from My Passport for Mac - doesn't work properly (running VERY slow):
Hey Guys,
I was able to solve this exact issue by downloading My Passport’s “WD Drive Utilities”. After downloading, I opened the app and ran some of its diagnoses. Nothing seemed to change at first and a 100gb transfer said it was going to take 1 day! But the miracle happened after restarted my mac. The drive showed up quickly, the folders opened quickly, and the 100gb transfer took about 15 minutes. Good luck!
