Hey guys, in september I bought a brand new WD My Passport Essential for Win and with WD Sync. Since I didn’t use WD Sync, I formated it to NTFS.
This week I got a My Book Essential 2TB drive and experienced the SmartWare. It’s a useful prog and I thought about using it for My Passport.
The problem ist that SmartWare does not recognize the dirve. It says, that I shall insert the SmartWare disc or something like that. (I’m not sure, for I can’t reproduce the error.) It tried to download some software but nothing worked out.
What can I do? Is there a solution?
