Ive had a my passport for many years (WDBBEP0010BSL-01) it has a password set and i thought it be ok to reconnect to my pc after a rebuild.
I can’t access it.
On disk manager it asks me to intitialise the disk abut that doesnt work ‘fatal device error’
Within DM The actual drive where my files are appears as Disk 2 @unknonw and not initialised’ (which i think is because its security locked - and it would probably work ok if i could only unlock it)
On file manager only a CDrom appears which i am assuming is where the WD Unlocker exe file would normally sit. But i cant click on it or get the the drive unlocker.
Within Disk manager the CD rom says no media.
I’ve various windows Western digital software - it see’s my passport but wont allow me to do anything with it
Within BIOS My passport is visible.
Ive updated the drivers and done various other things like deleted USB controllers and reinstalled - still nothing.
Has anyone got the original software for this drive?
