hi guys,

i would like to ask, because i have a new MyCloud Ultra, and i installed a WD SYNC on my windows server 2012 but i cannot find the Device i couldnt add it. is there any ways or i miss my it was not visible on the Windows server?

Hi, WD Sync is not supported on Windows Server, however, Do you have the server on a Domain? If the answer is yes, then, did you join the EX 2 Ultra to the domain? Did you create inbound and outbound rules to allow access to the WD Sync in the firewall?

yes made inbound and outbound rules to allow the access from the firewall.

and yes i had my server on a domain, but the WD is not yet joined though the domain i have.

You should join the drive to the domain, most likely not having the unit in the domain if causing the software not being able to recognize the EX 2.
