My Cloud resetting https security certificates

Installed a 2tb my cloud and it keeps resetting my security certificates, so that I am unable to go to any https website without getting an invalid security certificate warning.  Talked with wd support but they were useless.  I had setup a time and day for their level 2 support to contact me but never received a response.  I can get back on the secure websites by disabling the drive and power cycling my router, but as soon as I start the drive again, the problem is back.  I am running a small network with two pc’s, a laptop, a printer and a laser engraver.  The network connections run from the cable modem to a wireless router then to an 8 port gigabit switch.  The my cloud drive is plugged into the router,  the laptop is wireless and the rest is plugged into the switch.  Everything has a static ip except the cloud drive.  Thought about setting it to a static ip, but read that it can cause other problems.  Any suggestions?

Hello,

The WD My Cloud only uses certificates for  wdmycloud.com and the My Cloud app, so it is difficult to know why the problem is happening. I will recommend you to contact support on this one.

After over 30 days of waiting for support to contact me, I finally hear from them.  All it took was complaining in a public forum where they might be embarrassed.  After seeing all the problems that are still unsolved on this forum,  I have decided that the my cloud drive is not ready for prime time or customers. I will be returning mine ASAP…
