My Cloud Powers down question

Hello, I have a My Cloud WD Drive connected directly into my router. Every time I power the computer down and try to access the My Cloud drive when not at home it will not let me. When I get back and check it the drive tells me it had a power loss detected. Is there anyway to keep the drive running from the router and not shut down for when I’m away?

What drive says this, your My Cloud or your computer?

Did you shut down your router when you left your home? If you did not and the My Cloud is set up correctly then it should still work.
