My Cloud Mobile iOS 13.1.2 for iPhone XS Max & iPad Pro not working

WD MyCloud mobile app is not working with iOS13.1.2 for my iPhone XS Max, iPad Pro and iPad Air 2. It states that the drive is offline. However, I can access the drive via a computer or laptop. I cleared the cache, removed the backup feature and uninstalled the app and reinstalled it a million times and it still states drive is offline. Please help! Thank you.

I’m having the same issue. Says drive offline on my iPhone, yet on Android it’s working perfectly. Been over 3 weeks now for me, still no fix from WD.

I Rely on the app for work so it’s frustrating. Getting to the point now that I will pick a different company for a new NAS

WD My Cloud app for iOS 13.1.2 for Apple products had a recent update to version 4.4.19 (My Cloud app) a few days ago but the new version did absolutely nothing for Apple products using iOS 13.1.2. My drive is still offline while My Cloud can be accessed with my laptop and desktop.

Hi, I also have the same problem, I hope that it will quickly settle.

I have found the answer why the app is not working with my Apple products & iOS 13.1.2. I called WD tech support and they walked me through the change I had to do afterwards the app was working prefectly. Here is what they told me to do.

  1. Open My Cloud app and log in.
  2. Tap on the three lines at the left hand corner.
  3. Goto Settings
  4. Tap 4 to 5 times on the App version number (or until it opens a new screen)
  5. In the new screen goto Bypass HTTPS Verification and turn this on then press Done.
  6. Logout of My Cloud app
  7. Then login and My Cloud app and your Drive will be online again.
    If you have any problems call WD Tech support 1-800-275-4932.
