hello,

Any idea how to make the app back-up your photos on the iPhone?

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it on my phone. I have also turned off and on the “auto-backup” feature in the app and it seems to not be working.

Do you know anything else I should try before considering it broken? :smiley:

Hi laxwow18,

I set this up recently myself and although I’m very much a beginner I have a couple of suggestions:

  • check you have the latest version of the mobile app. Previous versions were very buggy and I spent HOURS trying in vain to make it work :rage:.
  • try the initial backup with screen lock set to ‘Never’ and leave your phone with the app in the foreground until the first backup is complete. It might take an hour or two depending on how many photos & videos you have.
