My Cloud EX4 Expansion

Hello

I was curious. If I had a My Cloud EX4 which the maximum capacity, what happens then? Can I buy another unit and daisy chain it?

It seems silly if I cannot expand the unit once it is full. I can’t keep adding new ones onto the network.

I have a lot of media content so the hard drive space would fill up extremely quickly.

The manual seems to indicate this supports Distributed File System.   It’s my understanding you could have several of them on your network in DFS showing up as 1 big share.

I will look in to that. It just seems a headache if you have to have several different systems on your network everytime you bust the capacity of the device aha
