If I format the My Book Duo as a JBOD (Individual Drives), can I take either of the drives out of the enclosure in the future and hook up to my computer directly to access the data?
My thought is to set up the drives this way to get a TRUE back up of the data I need to get off my computer.
I will remove the data from my computer to one of the drives. Then I will copy that data to the second drive. My thought is that if one of the drives fails or the enclosure fails, just pull the drives and connect directly to my computer.
