Media player not updating

my wd media player wont up date to new firmware. i’ve tried updating the firmware via a usb, but it doesn’t pick any thing up. i have also tried via internet but it just tells me there in no internet connections. my current firmware is 2.03.20

2.03.20 is the latest for the WDTV Live Streaming. That’s a different model.
