Media Player doesn't recognise new HDD

Hi all, hope someone can help, just bought a new Seagate 1tb USB powered.

Have a 320gb and it plays as soon as I plug it into the Media player, yet this new HDD won’t? have formatted it to Fat32, or should it be NTSF?

The WD TV Mini should recognize the drive, it does not matter if is formatted FAT 32 or NTFS.

Try to reset the WD TV with the drive connected to it:
