Lost shared folders on desktop app

With the new update, all my shared folders were moved to a “Shared” category in the online app, and removed from my desktop app folders. I can see them online or on the mobile app, but not on my desktop app anymore.

Is there anyway I can get these back on the desktop app?.

Hi jdtoony,

Shared content in the User Private Space will not be seen using WD Discovery on a Windows or macOS computer.

The shared content can only be accessed using the My Cloud Home web and mobile app.

Yes, I know this. That’s not the way it was working a week ago. I need it to work on the desktop app again.

Have you found a solution for this? or is WD just as stupid as James makes it out to be?
