Lost partition

Hello,

I have a WDBY8L0020BBK (2TB) drive.

For some reason, I can only see 1 partition which is 32GB in size but it has none of my data in it.

I enter my password to decrypt it, I tried updating the firmware which worked. I also tried loading the utility from WD which can see the drive. I tried the S.M.A.R.T diagnostic and it fails. I tried the quick diagnostic also which failed to complete.

Any ideas what happened to my other 1.75TB and how I can recover it?

Thanks for reading!

Anyone?

I have the same problem, interested in any help as well.

I think I may have found the problem. In my case I had an easystore, it was split into 3 partitions. The drive letters were E, F, and G. After I updated Windows 10 on 5/2 (new feature update) it re-labeled the drive as H. What I did was go to the windows start menu and right click, select disk management, then selected the H drive and selected change drive letter back to E. I restated my system and voila my partitions reappeared. Hopefully it will work for you. Let me know if this helps. Also here is the link to the procedure that helped me get my partitions back, but I didn’t “add” a drive letter I changed the new one to the old one before the update. I also used Method 1, I didn’t download their software. Fixed: Hard Drives Missing After Windows 11/10 Update - EaseUS
