Lost Connection for MyBook AV

I have had an external MyBook AV attached to a Verizon (now Frontier) DVR for the last few years. Last night, while installing a new TV, the MyBook AV SATA cable was accidentally unplugged. After plugging it back in, the DVR no longer recognizes the drive, and every attempt to re-attach the drive to the DVR is failing. Any suggestions on how I can get that connection re-established?

It would be best to contact Verizon with regards to re-attachment instructions. Some DVR’s are require for a DVR Expander to be formatted/deleted in order to be used again even if it was working before.
