Is WD Purple really CMR

Saw this topic but it has been closed so here is an answer that may help.

The answer is (at least for the 4TB) - Maybe YES and NO based on cache size on offer

I cant seem to send a pic but based on this link:

which offers 64 MB cache (probably CMR) AND 256 MB cache (probably SMR).
Buyer beware!

To add to my previous psot on this:
WD40PURZ = 64MB cache CMR according to spec
WD42PURZ - 256MB cache probably SMR (although WD chooses not to state disk technology for this in spec)
