Problems with files.mycloud.com

I have had a 4TB personal cloud device for some time, and have successfully set up remote access to it for a several members of the family. I have 2 personas - an “admin” with R/W access to all shares, and a personal account (different email) with more restricted access. The passwords are 16-character “random noise” strings of upper/lower alpha, numeric, and specials chars. This has been working for many months, but suddenly today I find that the personal account can’t log in via files.myclou…

How does Google Photo sync to MyCloud work?

But what does the following mean in the mycloud page… "Cloud account download to keep everything in one place Store everything in one place, even content in your favorite cloud accounts. Photos, videos and files from your cloud accounts are automatically downloaded to your My Cloud Home device, including Dropbox, Box, Google Drive™, Facebook and many more"

I have the same issue. It’s also sad that WD is restricting us from using their My Cloud Home software with the original My Cloud. [image]

Where is my 9 digit device code

Hi all My device is My Cloud 3TB Number of Drive Bays: Single Drive Ive looked every where. Its meant to be on the bottom of the mycloud device next to a locked padlock icon but none of those numbers work.the picture is my bottom information . [Image removed due to Privacy Policy]

Mycloud serial number not recognized on support site

Just bought the updated Mycloud Home 2TB with the new look. Setup paper in book says to go to My Cloud Home, this redirects to the main website. I tried using /setup instead but it can’t find My Cloud. My Cloud is recognized by my router and gives an IP address but typing that address into a browser doesn’t connect me to the dashboard or anything. I tried to set up a call with support but the pre-form keeps kicking me out as it doesn’t recognize my serial number. Any ideas?

Permanent Blue flashing LED0-HELP

hi all…need some advice please, my cloud 4tb home drive, was working ok, but suddenly i could not connect to it via any means and the front LED is continuously flashing blue, even if i leave it for a few days!. i have tried a 4 sec reset and the 40 sec reset, but still the same issue. i have emailed WD support a few days ago but no reply yet. So was hoping someone on here maybe able to help with any ideas how to recover/fix it…thanks

Films keep cutting out

Hi the last few months films have been cutting out using my WD Home drive. this has happened through x 2 smart tv’s a WD tv box, x 2 Bluray players with interenet connection etc, so it had to be the Nas drive. It happens across several formats of films, when it does happen I try to re locate the drive and its missing for several minutes, then it appears again. Was advised to rebuild the drive but want to ask if there is something else I can do or should do before I find out how to do this…! M…

My cloud not accesible through web

Dear WD. I cant acces my My Cloud through the web. Twonkey server and Windows explore acces works fine. The web acces gives me 3 options: 1 Check power - This is on 2 Check firmware - I cant check this, because i need web-acces 3 Accept certificate - Site is in-accesible Im affraid to cut the power, because thats bad for the system Can u please help me with this issue? Logging in via WD Explorer

I downloaded the WD my cloud desktop app, windows 10, and I am trying to connect to my my cloud. However, it will not let me click on the “Log in” Button. It is a wireless my cloud. and I have already set up the my cloud account. How do I log in and start using the app?

Dashboard unable to connect

Tried to log into the dashboard via wdmycloud and i get this come up This site can’t be reached wdmycloud’s server DNS address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN I tried connecting via ip address and get the following message {“key”:“notFound”,“message”:“Not Found”} any help appreciated

Smart TV Samsung & My Cloud

Hi This is how I use to connect with my last mycloud, Id see the device as a component on my smart TV input list. I just purchased a new mycloud home and I cant see it any longer and I don’t see a method to share my video folder I created. I only see a option to share a link with someone. How do I see my mycloud on my TV again?

How to access or share the cloud home with my family

i recently bought my cloud home, but i did realize i cloud only give private space in my cloud however they cannot be in the same network or share the same cloud. i do not understand. can anybody specify.
