(I'm shocked) Capacity seems OK but folders seem missing

Hello, Today I shared a folder from MyCloud (4TB) disk as usually. After that, I stopped the sharing. But now I can’t reach or access my files and folders even via Mac Finder and iOS app.

I had 1.68TB free space and I still have…

But there are no folders anymore (I had four seperated folder with different settings)

I think that I didn’t lost my files but I don’t know how I can get back it.

Please help me!
Thanks already

i have the same problem in my 8TB !
i hope there is a good answer for this question and i hope i didnt realy lost all my files.
better for you WD.

Who can help us?

Couple of suggestions. Try accessing the My Cloud using a different web browser as a troubleshooting step. Also disable any browser plug-ins or extensions as a troubleshooting step.

Try using a different computer to access the My Cloud as a troubleshooting step.

Try accessing the My Cloud using SSH to check the My Cloud Share structure at the root level to ensure folders/files are still there.

Try rebooting the My Cloud as a troubleshooting step.

Try disabling Remote Access (if enabled) as a troubleshooting step.

Try a 40 second reset as a troubleshooting step.

“40 second reset” solved that problem. Thanks Bennor

Solution: My Cloud OS 3 Pin Reset and System Only Restore a Single Bay My Cloud Device

On my WD Elements Hard drive, whenever I click on my folders it keeps saying ‘The device is not ready.’
Can someone please help me? All my universities stuff is on it and now I can’t access it…:frowning:

Wrong forum.

Hey Thuanvo
it happens often as the WD Cloud seems to go to sleep and my PCs/ Macs cant access.
I just unplug it and re power it up and it usually works. If that doesnt work, Sometimes rebooting your computer will help.
