im new user of wd my book , im using 4tb my book drive and have already read all those user manual guide but couldn’t found any guide to turn it off properly/safely.
anyone can share how to turn it off safely without harming the drive?

Firstly, you should safely eject the drive: Windows & macOS: Safely Remove an External Drive
Disconnect the USB cable. Now, you can remove WD My Book from the power source as it does not have a power button.
