How to stop constant disk activity when device is not being used? (Media sharing is DISABLED)

I recently set up a 4 TB MyCloud Mirror in RAID0 mode and both blue LEDs blink constantly.  I assume that indicates constant disk activity but there’s nothing going on and I am not using either DLNA or iTunes.

I’ve read other posts about this problem but they all appear to be related to one of the media servers, which I’m not using.  So I’m confused about what’s going on.

How do I stop the disk activity?

Thanks,

rgames

It doesn’t matter if media sharing is enabled or not, if you have media files then this will happen. Just let this disk activity complete…depending on how many media files you have, it might take a few days. But it will stop eventually once the WD Media Crawler program finishes indexing the media files. Another reason why Red drives should be in NASes…you need not worry about this days-long disk read operations.
