I have a G-Technology 6TB G-DRIVE USB G1 USB 3.0 Hard Drive that just failed on me. I believe the heads are stuck so Im going to take a crack at opening the drive and making sure they are not stuck on the platter to get one last kick at the cat and saving the data.
I’ve opened drives before… but this one has me baffled!!! I can’t seem to get the case open. I’ve removed all the screws I saw but it still didn’t open. Check behind the motherboard and nothing.
Anybody know what I’m missing? How do I get this HD open??
