G-drive mobile micro b female connector fell out, can I open the case?

Hey guys!

So I just found out I can’t connect my cable to my G-Drive mobile harddisk usb 3.0 anymore because the socket has fell out and I can’t find it anywhere. Can I open the case and connect the harddrive to a SATA to usb? I really need some help here.

Yes you can swap the drive to another enclosure or to a SATA to USB cable in order to access the data.
