The Ultrastar DC HC530 datasheet mentioned 512e models can be converted to 4Kn, it seems similar to Seagate’s FastFormat?
I want to know how to convert? what software is needed to convert?
I also need to know if the DC HC 530 is the same drive like WD GOLD WD141KRYZ is it possible to convert 512e to 4kn on WD GOLD WD141KRYZ?
In order to convert an HC530 from 512e to 4Kn you need perform a low level format.
For that you shall need the hugo command line utility.
