I have 8 x 14TB Ultrastar DC HC530 drives (WUH721414ALE6L4)
I’m looking to update the firmware to the latest version on all drives but having some issues.
4 drives were successfully updated to LDGNW2L0 which WD Support let me know is the latest version.
4 are running LDGAW2G2 which WD Support said can be updated to LDGNW2L0. These drives will not accept the update though.
I pointed out the different between the LDGA and LDGN drives but was told that all drives should accept the LDGNW2L0 firmware.
I’ve attached a screenshot of an attempted update run. I’ve also attempted to update a single drive on a different machine with the same result.
