I just purchased 2TB WD Passport.
I put in my files there amounting to 860 GB. But the available space is only 239 GB.
There must be hidden files but I don’t know how to remove them. Please help.
Unlikely hidden files are the issue , and if you go deleting hidden files you probably will screw up things. There is another reason, some are likely some files to help run the drive, and utility programs. Contact WD in Monday for assist.
