How do I verify if my volume has been encrypted?

I’ve purchased and configured my old WD My Cloud EX2 several years ago,
and after a while, struggling with it’s unacceptably slow transfer speeds (below 10MB/s…), I gave up on it
and it ended up boxed in the basement storage.
I’d like to give it to someone now, and the old speed issue is back…
I’m reading many people talk about the drive encryption being the common cause,
and I’d love it if it was the only thing, but I’m going over the pages of the configuration,
trying to find out if I do, or do not have mine configured to do the encryption,
and I just can’t find that information anywhere. It’s been a while, I don’t remember how I’ve done it.
Chances are I did enable the encryption, and that is why it’s so super slow, but I have no idea how to find that out now.
Please, can someone tell me how to find that out.
