Help Can't see my Data 7.5TB

Hello

Can someone help. 

I am  completely distraught

My sharespace was powered down for 4 months, shutdown. 

2 weeks ago my PC psu blew up, and trip the fuse in house. 

The wd share space powered up, when I reset the home fuse

Anyway, the damage to my PC was severe, my hdd got damaged, pSU , hot swap backplane

Got a new SSD disk, and upgraded to windows 8 and trying to recover a few things

Now on the sharespace can’t see my any of my files anymore on windows 8. The folders are empty

I have checked system status, it says 96% used. I guess the files are on the share space, it’s just not being to see them.

If there a way to see these files in windows 8? am I missing something?

The files are there but got corrupted due to the power failure

try using a data recovery software

But the unit was already shutdown when fuse got tripped. It  powered up when I did reset the fuse. 

How to recover a data from a NAS? using recover software? Can you by any chance point to this?

I am using an external UPS , but still I am worried about the data in the WDSharespace.

The power fluctiations are the major worry.

Is the powere diturabances are a major challenege even when we have RAID-1 ?
